MILWAUKEE (AP) -- Mike Dunleavy missed the previous seven games because of a bruised left knee. The way he played Tuesday night, it was hard to tell.
Dunleavy scored 17 points off the bench, including grabbing a key rebound and scoring on a putback after missing a 3-pointer with 1:35 left, to help the Milwaukee Bucks hold off the Indiana Pacers 98-93.
"It was nice to have him back," Bucks coach Scott Skiles said. "It didn't seem like he had been out. He's not known for being a great athlete. He is really long and he has a really great basketball set. When he is around the rim, usually something good happens."
Dunleavy said it just felt good to be back on the court and to contribute to a win against a Central Division rival.
"I felt very comfortable out there," said Dunleavy, who hit 3 of 5 3-pointers. "I feel like my condition is a little bit down, but I felt good. I hate missing games, but it's good to be back and good to get a win...

Gary Woelfel, the Bucks beat writer for the Racine Journal-Times, called into the local WSSP radio show in Milwaukee Saturday where he noted he has it on “very good authority” that the Nets are still trying to pursue Bucks forward, Ersan Ilyasova. The Nets were one of several teams interested in the Turkish forward over the summer but he were unsuccessful as he signed a 5-year...
MILWAUKEE A perfect storm was working against the Milwaukee Bucks on Saturday.
Playing back-to-back games is something that happens frequently in the NBA, but a team playing on consecutive days while their opponent is fully rested is a tough task.
That's exactly what the Bucks faced for the first time this season Saturday. Add in the fact that the game was against one of the...
ST. FRANCIS, Wis. -- Milwaukee Bucks forward Mike Dunleavy was back at practice Monday and expects to play Tuesday against Indiana.
"I had a good day at practice, it feels pretty good," Dunleavy said. "Hopefully I'll be able to play tomorrow night. Unless something acts up tomorrow after a full day of practice, I'm hopeful to play."
Bucks coach Scott Skiles...
MILWAUKEE -- Though they've played well in his absence, but the Milwaukee Bucks missed Mike Dunleavy Jr. Out seven of the last eight games with a bone bruise in his left knee, Dunleavy returned with a splash Tuesday night, scoring 17 points off the bench in Milwaukee's 98-93 victory over the Indiana Pacers at the BMO Harris Bradley Center -- their fifth victory in the last...
Joel Przybilla of the Milwaukee Bucks has been suspended for one game by the NBA for “throwing the basketball and hitting a referee”.
Late in the 4th quarter of the Clippers win over the Bucks on Saturday, Przybilla threw the ball at a referee who called a foul on teammate Drew Gooden.
A separate referee quickly hit Przybilla with a technical foul and the league announced on...
Milwaukee is simply one of those teams the Pacers don't match up well against, primarily because of the quickness of their guards, Brandon Jennings and Monta Ellis.
As expected, the dynamic backcourt duo gave the Pacers all sorts of problems and combined for 55 points, with Jennings' 34 leading the way in their 98-93 win, their second of the season against Indiana.
The Milwaukee Bucks will be without one of their bench players on Tuesday night when they take on the Indiana Pacers. Joel Przybilla will not be missing time because of an injury. Instead, he will be serving a one-game suspension for his actions Saturday night.According to Charles F. Gardner of the Milwaukee Journal-Sentinel, Przybilla's suspension was announced yesterday...
MILWAUKEE -- Brandon Jennings scored seven of his season-high 34 points during a one-minute stretch in the fourth quarter as the Bucks beat Indiana, 98-93, Tuesday night at the BMO Harris Bradley Center. Tied at 85-85 with 4:31 left, Jennings made a 16-footer from the corner to put Milwaukee up, 87-85. After Larry Sanders blocked David West, George Hill fouled Jennings on a missed...
MILWAUKEE -- If there was any rust in Mike Dunleavy's game, it certainly didn't show.
After missing the last six games and seven of eight with a bone bruise in his left knee, Dunleavy looked like he hadn't missed a beat. While he may have picked up right where he left off, the Bucks needed him back and his impact in Tuesday's 98-93 victory over Indiana was evident...
Perhaps the biggest concern facing the Indiana Pacers during their longest winning stretch of the season is the health of one of their top players.
The visiting Pacers expect center Roy Hibbert to be on the floor as they try for a fourth consecutive victory Tuesday night against the Milwaukee Bucks.
Indiana's leading rebounder at 8.4 per game, Hibbert suffered a deep thigh...
