Following a week that featured two of the best games of his season, Bucks point guard Brandon Jennings has been named the NBA's Eastern Conference Player of the Week. Jennings - who also won the award following the opening week of the season - averaged 24.5 points and 6.5 assists per game while shooting 47.7 percent and 50.0 percent from three. This is the third such honor in his career. Following the departure of coach Scott Skiles, Jennings exploded in back-to-back games against Phoenix and Chicago. Against the Suns, Jennings led the Bucks with 29 points and dished out nine assists while connecting on five of his seven three-point attempts. The next night in Chicago, the 23-year-old point guard scored 20 of his season-high 35 points in the third quarter, helping Milwaukee rally past the Bulls. After scoring 15 points against Detroit on Friday, Jennings finished his week scoring 19 points with 10 assists in Sunday's win over Toronto. Bucks guard Monta Ellis also won the award for the Bucks this season, tying Milwaukee with Miami and Oklahoma City for the most player of the week awards this season. It is the only the second time in franchise history that the Bucks have three player of the week winners. Michael Redd won the award twice and Mo Williams once in 2006-07.
