PHILADELPHIA - Milwaukee Bucks guard Brandon Jennings, bent on putting his worst game of the young season behind him, scored a season-high 33 points Monday night to lead the Bucks past the Philadelphia 76ers, 105-96. "I was so upset with my game in Boston the other night," said Jennings, who was limited to four points on 1-for-11 shooting in Saturday's 106-100 loss. "I wanted to come out here and prove that was just a fluke, and have a short memory. That's something I was working on this summer." Jennings shot 12-for-21 from the field, and made a three-pointer from the right wing with 7:05 left - after he nearly lost the ball twice - that snapped an 89-89 tie and put Milwaukee ahead for good. He also had eight assists. "Jennings was fabulous tonight - lightning quick, hitting shots," Sixers coach Doug Collins said. "He and Monta Ellis, I don't know if there's a faster two-guard lineup out there than those two guys." Ell...

Bucks defense steps up in win over Sixers

Two nights ago, the Milwaukee Bucks watched Boston take control of a close game in the fourth quarter by stepping up and making shots. Monday night found the Bucks yet again in the fourth quarter of a close game. This time around Milwaukee clamped down defensively, which lead to easy baskets and sealed the Bucks 105-96 win over Philadelphia, their first 3-0 road start since 2001...

Bucks bench best of the bunch early on

MILWAUKEE --Just how good has the bench been for the Milwaukee Bucks? Take it as you may, but there are a few stats that say it has been the best in the NBA. The first stat, which is even listed on the league's website but isn't always the greatest measurement of success, is called efficiency and is measured by subtracting field goals missed, free throws missed and turnovers...

Bucks Tuesday: Skiles aims to stockpile wins

ST. FRANCIS, WIS.- The Bucks are 4-2. So far, so good, right?Well, yes, but Milwaukee sees an opportunity for more. With two very winnable home games left this week and a trip to Charlotte on Monday, the Bucks want to be 7-2 before heading to Miami next Wednesday. Milwaukee has only been 7-2 or better through nine games twice since 1983. With the Danny Granger-less Indiana Pacers...

Brandon Jennings scored 33 points and Monta Ellis had 18 to lead the Milwaukee Bucks to a 105-96 win over the Philadelphia 76ers on Monday night. The Bucks improved to 3-0 on the road for the first time since they won their first four in 2001-02. Jennings and Ellis combined to make 20 of 41 shots with 10 rebounds and 15 assists. Mike Dunleavy scored 13 points and the Bucks shot...

Games To Watch, Week Three (11/12-11/18)

Monday, November 12th: Bucks @ Sixers, 7:00 ET, NBALP: Jrue Holiday recently signed the four-year, $41 million extension that the Bucks elected not to offer Brandon Jennings.  Motivation? I expect Jennings’ intensity to rival that of Kevin Garnett.  The young man feels he has a point to prove this season, and I’m sure this is one of the games he’d circled on the calendar...

Sixers Drop One to the Bucks, 105-96

Brandon Jennings led the Milwaukee Bucks with 33 points and 8 assists in their 105-96 victory past the Philadelphia 76ers Monday night at the Wells Fargo Center.  Jrue Holiday was simply amazing on the Sixers end with 25 points. But the real story was Jason Richardson coming back from an ankle injury to contribute 20 points and an insane 360 slam at the end of the first half...

Drew Gooden Feeling Healthy, Unconcerned About Inactives

After two straight injury-plagued seasons, Drew Gooden is confident that his health is strong and is the best it has been in his time with the Bucks.

Bucks go for best start on road in 11 years

After a perfect road trip, the Philadelphia 76ers are hoping to carry that momentum back home. The Milwaukee Bucks, meanwhile, are going for their best start on the road in 11 years. Philadelphia seeks a fourth straight win overall and its eighth in nine home contests against the Bucks on Monday night in the opener of a five-game homestand. Coming off two straight losses to New...

Bucks try to get things going on home court

The Indiana Pacers had no problem putting the ball in the basket last season against the Milwaukee Bucks, but that was with Danny Granger in the lineup. They could sure use him there now. Indiana goes for its first road win in five tries Wednesday night when the Bucks try to avoid a third straight home loss. Led by Granger's 21.7 points per game, Indiana averaged 116.0 as...

Jennings Efficient, Bucks Withstand 76ers

The Milwaukee Bucks defeated the Philladelphia 76ers Monday night by a final score of 105-96. The Bucks moved to 4-2, and the Sixers fell to 4-3. The Bucks made their first 8 shots of the game. Then they started turning the ball over like crazy for a stretch spanning the first and second quarter, and let the Sixers hang around. Then the Bucks went on a run, Jennings caught...

Drew Gooden has one strange hair style (Picture)

Personally, I met Drew Gooden a couple of years ago when covering the Cleveland Cavaliers and overall, he's a stand-up individual along with being a quality NBA player. However, when this recent photo surfaced of Drew's head...it needed to be posted on this fine website:  (Courtesy of Slanch Report)

Enemy Chatter: Bucks fans have a mild dislike for NBA officiating

We often wonder what opposing teams, their beat reporters and bloggers are saying about the Celtics. Here’s a look at some enemy chatter from Milwaukee. I’m so tired of the NBA! Last night’s game was officiated like always! One of the leagues GEM teams comes in and gets all the calls in the 4th. Paul Pierce can go to the line w/out being touched but Illyasova got fouled in...

Day 14: This Overtime Goes to Three

Alternate Title: Andrew Bynum Sadface Line of the Night: It’s time to accept that Brandon Jennings (3.54) is an elite fantasy PG in this league. He might not be in the top 3, but he should at least be in the discussion when you talk about the top 5. Jennings led all fantasy performances last night as the Bucks took down the Sixers with a stat filling 33 points, 4 threes, 5 rebounds...
