Trey Note: There is NO doubt in my mind, Dwight is gone, and the Magic will likely trade him at the deadline. This piece wasn’t written to deny that fact. It’s written because a hip-hop mogul is breaking this “news”.

The Hip-Hop artist made famous for asking where “the Bacardi at” and  is currently employed, according to his Twitter bio, as ”the CEO *****”  (Which is funny use of Trey-matical grammar in my opinion) decided to out scoop the talking heads.

Dwight has made it no secret (via various avenues) that the Nets are the destination at the top of his list. That being said, they have nothing to offer with Brook Lopez on the skid and a slew of awful (featuring the former Mr. Kardashian) sitting next to Deron Williams. So, you ask, is it likely that a ****** rapper like Jermaine Dupri is breaking anything of value? No.

Dwight will be traded for Bynum come March, the Lakers will take Hedo’s ****** contract in the deal, and we’ll all move on.

Postups: How will the Dwight Howard saga end in Orlando?

Will it be New Jersey? L.A.? Dallas? Or staying in Orlando? The Dwight Howard soap opera sounds like a rerun, but Ken Berger says the new CBA rules could produce a surprise ending. Also unclear: How the Knicks' mess gets sorted out.

Report: Knicks Willing to Trade Amar’e Stoudemire To Rent Dwight Howard

I believe the Knicks have come to the conclusion that most of us saw from the beginning, that Amare and Carmelo don’t mesh well together. Specifically Amar’e seems lost when Carmelo is on the floor. Melo is a dominant scorer and needs ball in his hands. Since he is a perimeter player he can do that, but Amar’e needs someone to feed him the ball, since he doesn&...

The Pistons vs. The Magic

The 1-3 Pistons are at the Palace of Auburn Hills to take on the 4-1 Orlando Magic. Though Dwight Howard may be unhappy in the Magic Kingdom, he’s putting up numbers already. Howard is averaging 17.4 points and 17 boards a game. The good: JJ and Moose. The bad: The Magic are averaging 100 points per game and have hit 24 three’s in the last two games. The unknown: Will...

Unsung Hero

All things considered, the Orlando Magic are in a better position than many had predicted they would be this early in the season. The reason behind that success might surprise even the most astute NBA analysts. Of course Dwight Howard and his 19.1 points, 16 rebounds, and 2.7 blocks have been MVP-esque but those numbers are somewhat expected.  The key behind the Magic’s success...
