Beyond The Buzzer:
Nets’ Jerry Stackhouse kicked off the first ever playoff game at Barclays Center in Brooklyn by singing the National Anthem prior to Game 1 of the Bulls-Nets playoff series. The 18-year veteran who has also sang the anthem as a member of the Milwaukee Bucks and Dallas Mavericks, does a pretty impressive rendition!

Back in 2010, Jerry Stackhouse was a member of the Dallas Mavericks and got the chance to sing the United States National Anthem before a game against the Houston Rockets.
Flash forward to 2013, Mr. Stackhouse got the same opportunity to belt out the anthem as a member of the Brooklyn Nets.
Check out his performance below which occurred before the start of game one between the Nets...
Jerry Stackhouse belted out the 'Star Spangled Banner' in the Brooklyn Nets' home playoff opener against the Chicago Bulls. He wasn't half bad, either.
The Brooklyn Nets saw to it that the Chicago Bulls had a rough night on Saturday.
Game 1 of their Eastern Conference playoff series was not a game as much as it was a beating.
The 106-89 score does not even do much justice to how poorly Chicago played on Saturday.
The sloppy, uneven mess was uninspired as they allowed Deron Williams and Brook Lopez to score a combined 43...
It is possible.
It is low possibility, but what else is Joe Johnson is going to say? Johnson filed suit against Shannon Beckton to be legally recognized as the father of her child and wants to have shared custody.
The only problem is the court dates fall during the NBA playoffs, so Johnson per TMZ asked the Judge to postpone the hearings until after the NBA Finals, to be on the safe...
If the haters were talking yesterday, D-Will shut them right up
If Deron Williams has not directly addressed the many criticisms he has heard since heading to the Nets from the Jazz a few years ago, then he is probably lying.
Countless writers, beat reporters, and fans alike have been incessant in ripping the franchise point guard for a perceived "letting...
Jay Z may have sold his minority interest in the Nets but he told you in “Open Letter” that he was keeping the courtside seats. Hov was in the building for the first playoff game of the Brooklyn Nets era. Of course Jay had to stunt a little fashion realness for the masses, rocking a black Rich Kids “HOOLIGANS” sweatshirt and black jeans. His look was finished off with a Just...
Apparently, Brooklyn Nets fans are taking this whole “black-out” thing pretty literally as one fan sitting near the Chicago Bulls bench decided to wear sunglasses during a game.
Twitter maven @CJFogler tracked down the photo of the man and clearly, he likes to wear his sunglasses at the Barclays Center….at night

Though they won 3 of 4 against Brooklyn, the Chicago Bulls will need to be at the top of their game to win the playoff series against the home-court advantaged Nets.
