If Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick was a fan of Justin Bieber, he would not be the first grown man to have come down with a case of Bieber Fever. The Biebs typically appeals to young girls between the ages of 8 and 15, but there are many exceptions. Redick may have attended Bieber’s concert at the Amway Center in Orland last week, but he insists it was not his choice.
“A happy wife is a happy life,” Redick told the Orlando Sentinel. “I have a general rule that if I have an off-day during the season that I owe it to her to do what she wants unless it’s harmful to my well-being. Her and her friends wanted to go.”
Sure thing, bro. Redick said he is not a Bieber fan and that he prefers Indie rock.
“I do not have Bieber Fever,” Redick added, via the Orlando Sentinel’s Josh Robbins. “But I will say that I respect talent. I always respect talent. I’m not a hater. So I’m not a Bieber hater or anything like that. He at one point played acoustic guitar, the drums, the piano. He sang melodies. He s
BEST OF MAXIM
There may not be a player in the league with a more uncertain future than J.J. Redick. Yes, Rudy Gay might get traded and Boston has no idea where that team might go after Rajon Rondo's injury. Before the season though, no player seemed more certain to get moved than Redick.
Everyone seemed to recognize that.
That has changed somewhat though as the season has gone on...
It has been that kind of season for the Magic. Frustration all around. If the basketball did what it was suppose to do after Glen Davis shoots it than this kind of language would not be necessary. Unfortunately, Glen needs to curse after the ball decides to take an awkward bounce. The ball didn't want to feel Big Baby's wrath, so it went back on course. Things need...
There have undoubtedly been a lot of questions about the Magic at small forward.
Orlando has rotated DeQuan Jones, Maurice Harkless and J.J. Redick in the position ever since Hedo Turkoglu went out with a broken hand in the first game of the season. Turkoglu is the presumed starter when he is healthy and conditioned. The problem is he has not been there since he made his first...
After 5 years in the league, we all know that Glen Davis is a little out there. He’s proven to be a solid player in the right situation, but he certainly has more than his fair share of antics.
And just because he’s Glen Davis, he decided to catch a flying Gerald Wallace after Wallace converted a dunk in a game where Brooklyn beat Orlando. You can watch the clip below:
HE'S A BELIEBER
Orlando Magic guard JJ Redick spent the night at a Justin Bieber concert, but don't worry -- he went to the concert for his wife.
ORLANDO, Fla. (AP) -- Brandon Knight had a career-high 31 points, including five 3-pointers, and Greg Monroe scored 17 points and the Detroit Pistons ended a two-game losing streak with a 104-102 win over the Orlando Magic on Sunday.
The Magic had a chance to tie the game in the closing seconds after a missed free throw, but missed three putback attempts as the final horn sounded...
The Magic looked a bit fatigued through one half of play as the Nets picked apart the Magic defense -- particularly the undermanned second unit -- draining 3-pointers and getting into the lane whether it was through pick and rolls or post ups. Orlando did not have the will to drive to the basket or the ability to make shots.
Another blowout to the Nets seemed certain.

Andre Drummond played just 16 minutes of Sunday's win over the Orlando Magic. The rookie center missed his only shot and finished with four rebounds and two blocks.
No Rodney Stuckey (DNP-CD) was a good thing for Brandon Knight, who blew up for 31 points (12-16 FG, 2-2 FT) with five 3-pointers, four rebounds and a steal.
Will Bynum turned in nine points (3-7 FG, 3-4 FT...
It's not often that you get to see an NBA player catch another but during Monday night's Brooklyn Nets/Orlando Magic affair, Orlando's Glen Davis came up holding Brooklyn's Gerald Wallace. The moment happened in the third quarter of play and watch as Glen catches "Crash" after a drive attempt:
While they made some strides defensively in their last game, the Orlando Magic couldn't put a dent in their lengthy slump.
The free-falling Magic will try to snap a four-game skid and win for only the third time in 18 games Sunday night when they host the Detroit Pistons.
Wins have been awfully tough to come by for Orlando, regardless of the venue or strength of its opponent...
