Chicago Bulls News - Joakim Noah got down to business again last night recording his 4th triple-double of the season and notching the seventh for his career as the Chicago Bulls took down the Minnesota Timberwolves. Noah is continually climbing up the third slot on the Chicago Bulls all-time list: Michael Jordan 25, Scottie Pippen 15 and Joakim Noah now has 7. Noah continues to set the tone for this team at both ends. He is the guy that every team focuses their game plan around — and he still finds ways to dominate up and down the floor. He has become more patient within the context of the offense and waits for plays to develop so that his teammates can get open. Combine Noah’s playmaking ability with his leadership skills and it’s easy to understand why he is so beloved by his teammates and continues to get better. Joakim Noah’s seven career triple-doubles give him a whopping six more than Derrick Rose. This is a pretty amazing stat considering Rose won the MVP in the 2010-2011 season and he still only has one career triple-double. Noah has four of them this year alone and is expected to finish in the top 5, at best, in the MVP voting. Noah Is The New Leader “Derrick Rose is our MVP“, yes we know you’re a great teammate Joakim, but you’re the MVP this year. Derrick Rose is slowly working his way back into the news, most recently the discussions have been focused around Team USA. Meanwhile, Joakim Noah is leading a team of blue collar scrappers to the top of the Eastern Conference. Derrick Rose is beloved in Chicago and always will be, but Joakim Noah is making more of a name for himself every day that passes. The MVP chants should continue for the big man.   The post Joakim Noah Now Has Six More Triple-Doubles Than Derrick Rose appeared first on Sports Mockery.
