Brooklyn Nets guard Joe Johnson missed practice yesterday due to plantar fasciitis in his left foot, and the team is considering him a game-time decision for tonight's game against the Chicago Bulls. For his part, Johnson his hoping to suit up for Game 3, according to Mike Mazzeo of ESPN New York."I'm a little sore, but I'll be able to give them what I got," Johnson said. "We've battled, we've been through ups and downs all year. For us to come this far, I'm gonna do whatever I can to be out there."Johnson aggravated the injury during the first quarter of Monday's loss. He's been dealing with plantar fasciitis since February, as it's an injury that tends to linger unless you completely immobilize the foot. The Nets and Johnson can't afford complete immobilization for an extended period of time, so if he's going to play it will likely be through the assistance of pain killers. Bulls big man Joakim Noah is battling a similar injury, which has become more and more prevalent across all major sports.Johnson's been treating the injury with rest -- when he can afford it -- and ice. He thinks he would have been good to go if Game 3 were on Wednesday, so he seems likely to suit up tonight.Follow @hoopsinjurynews
