The Brooklyn Nets were without Joe Johnson for the second-straight game last night.  Johnson has been battling a heel injury and was unable to go last night.  He was a late scratch says Howard Beck of the New York Times. Johnson suffered the injury a few days ago and has been diagnosed with pan tar fascists.  The condition is one of the more unpredictable as it can limit a player for weeks or just for a few days.  So far it's been just a few days for Johnson, but he can easily be sidelined much longer if it persists. The Nets will need Johnson on the court to help fight for seeding in the second half of the season.  Brooklyn has already had an impressive year, but they can still move up in the Eastern Conference.  Right now, they are 33-24 and in fourth place.  They could catch the Indiana Pacers, though, for second.Johnson is a veteran shooting guard and his presence on the court is always missed when he sits. He is averaging 17.0 points, 3.0 assists, and 3.6 rebounds per game this season.  In his career, he has averaged 17.1 points, 4.4 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game.
