Let me say that Jose Calderon should apologize. Just not for the last second lob pass that netted Landry Fields (who needs the confidence) an easy two. What he should be apologizing for is the fact that the 76ers aren't good and the Raptors are turning things around, winning 9 out of their last 12 after starting with a 4-19 record. No Jose, you don't apologize for being awesome and one of the league's best passers. If the 76ers didn't like it, they could have done something to stop it.

How many Wizards fans miss Eddie Jordan? This Wizards reporter is not afraid to say that he does. Besides the fact he was the head coach here in the Nation's Capital the last time the Wizards were relevant, he brought a style of offense and uptempo play that this franchise hadn't seen in a while. 100+ point games were routine (on both ends of the court), 40-45 win campaigns...
The Raptors are 7-3 over their last 10 games.
TORONTO - It wasn't pretty but it was good enough for the Toronto Raptors' first win in three tries against the Philadelphia 76ers this season. With Amir Johnson and DeMar DeRozan scoring 19 points each and the defense doing a good job on Sixers guard Jrue Holiday for most of the game, the Raptors came away with a 90-72 victory before a crowd of 15,629 at Air Canada Centre...
The Raptors are said to be offering a package centered around Jose Calderon, Ed Davis and future picks for Rudy Gay.
Not so fast with the rumors of Rudy Gay to Phoenix. The Toronto Raptors want in the hunt for the Memphis Grizzlies' star small forward, ESPN's Marc Stein reports.
Gay looks destined to be wearing a new uniform by the February 21 trade deadline. Stein reports that the Raptors are offering Jose Calderon and his expiring contract and Ed Davis.
From a fantasy perspective...
Man, that would suck.
Everything that Toronto touches, turns to ass.
And Rudy Gay is a fun player to watch, but things could change if Toronto has their way:
“Sources told ESPN.com this week that the Raptors — who tried to make a play for Gay before the 2012 NBA Draft — remain seriously “interested” in the Grizzlies’ leading scorer and are trying to assemble trade packages...
The Toronto Raptors have been dealing with a number of injuries, but they've been able to compensate with solid defense. That may not bode well for the low-scoring Charlotte Bobcats.
Toronto goes for its 10th victory in 13 games Friday night when it faces a Bobcats team looking for a third straight road win.
Injuries to Andrea Bargnani, Linas Kleiza, Aaron Gray and Jonas Valanciunas...
Rudy Gay has been at the heart of trade rumors essentially the entire season. Gay is owed $52 million over the last 3 years of his contract. The Griz are currently 22-10, good enough for 4th place in the West right now. That would also be good enough for 2nd in the east, barely behind … Continue reading »
