After the New York Knicks were defeated by the Indiana Pacers in Game 1 of the Eastern Conference Semis, JR Smith went to social media to defend himself against his critics. Smith shot a dismal 4-15 and delivered a tremendous flop on a David West screen late in the 4th quarter.  Critics were attributing Smith’s poor performance to internet allegations that he was partying at Jay-Z’s 40/40 Club the night before Game 1.
