Pass The Pill:
Coming off of a really bad loss against the Denver Nuggets, the New York Knicks are looking to bounce back against the Portland Trailblazers. The only problem? No Carmelo Anthony, Tyson Chandler, or Amar’e Stoudemire.
Thus, here comes a lot of J.R. Smith. Smith certainly made his point known with this very nice dunk, which you can watch below:
You know Ray Felton is looking to make a statement against his old team, where there were plenty of issues. Felton has admitted to arriving to the team out of shape out of the lockout, but has also hinted toward some serious problems with some of the team’s upper management.
When New York’s stars are out, it’s usually time for J.R. Smith. For better, or for worse.
The Blazers seem to have a bright future, with rookie Damian Lillard and LaMarcus Aldridge leading the way.

BEST OF MAXIM
J.R. Smith had a sick dunk late Thursday night that got his bench fired up. The Knicks are hurting in the injury department and could use all the offense they can get from their bench players. J.R. can make a few mistakes on any given night, but here he makes a highlight. Check it out:

Think Jason Gay had bad timing? Yeah, there's a J.R. Smith song out. And? It's R&B. Natural booty. The best thing is that Milford Jerome drops subtle Knicks jokes wherein to enjoy.

The New York Knicks are dealing with knee problems to three of their key players, but J.R. Smith is more concerned about another part of the body as the team continues to stumble towards the back end of a five-game road-to-ruin swing.
"We got to checkout our heart right now," said the Knicks guard. "We either got to compete or pack up and go home. It's just that...
The Knicks have many banged up pieces of their perfect puzzle, namely Carmelo Anthony, Amar’e Stoudemire and Tyson Chandler, but it’s not the injuries that have often-outspoken, J.R. Smith, questioning their play. It’s their hearts. J.R. Smith says the Knicks lack heart, and perhaps he’s correct.
“We got to check out our heart right now,” Smith said. “We either...
Honestly, I didn't think that anyone would do an R&B song about New York Knicks guard J.R. Smith but one has hit the fair Interwebs. The song is entitled "So Right" and is vocalized by an individual named Milford Jerome whose epic ballad about the Knicks sharpshooter has to make this one of the best player dedication songs ever posted on this website:
The New York Knicks have struggled on their current road trip. After getting trounced by the Nuggets in Carmelo’s return to his old team, ‘Melo left the team to go have his ailing knee drained. The squad was also without Tyson Chandler and Amar’e Stoudemire as both also are dealing with injuries.
But the show must go on and despite being shorthanded, The NBA Mistress provided...
J.R. Smith splits the defense and soars through the air to throw down a hammer in Portland on Thursday night during the first half:
As of Friday morning, I spent 75% of my weeknights forgoing healthy sleep in order to watch the New York Knicks, which proved to be a stupid exercise because the Knicks decided to play basketball very poorly those three nights. Aside from J.R. Smith scoring 11 straight points (to the devastating chagrin of Mike Breen) in the fourth quarter against Portland to cut the Blazers’ lead...

The Knicks will look to bounce back from their ugly game in Golden State Monday night tonight in Denver. It will be the second of a five game road trip and arguably the hardest game in the stretch, as the Nuggets have the best home record in the NBA at 28-3. This is will...
