Kawhi Leonard is resting his knee Thursday night. The Spurs' injury report says Leonard is only expected to miss tonight's game with the Los Angeles Lakers.
So whatever is ailing Leonard must not be serious, and this sounds like Greg Popovich giving one of his starters some rest.
Look for Danny Green to get all of the time he wants. He's on a roll, averaging 14.3 points, 3.1 rebounds, 2.1 assists, 1.9 steals and .8 blocks in his last 10 games. And the highlight is a ridiculous 33 3-pointers made in that span.
Injury report: Coach Pop said at shootaround Kawhi Leonard will sit out tonight (knee). Leonard only expected to miss tonight's game.

Pop hands over Spurs to Parker
For years the San Antonio Spurs were known as Tim Duncan's team.
