Kendrick Perkins, whom many people now know as the guy Blake Griffin destroyed on a colossal slam dunk last week, is ripping LeBron James for his reaction on Twitter following the jam. The Oklahoma City Thunder center told Marc Spears of Yahoo! Sports on Tuesday that he isn’t too happy with James, saying the Heat forward should instead be focusing on more important matters. Specifically, James wrote: “Dunk of the Year!! @blakegriffin just dunked on Kendrick Perkins so hard!! Wow!! I guess I’m #2 now. Move over #6.” James was referencing his impressive alley-oop dunk the day before against the Bulls. “You don’t see Kobe [Bryant] tweeting,” Perkins said. “You don’t see Michael Jordan tweeting. If you’re an elite player, plays like that don’t excite you.
