Disclaimer: This post is a tribute to Celtics' culture and the high-character players it produces, not another debate about the Jeff Green-Perkins trade. For that, go here. Though Kendrick Perkins' production has been a disappointment to Oklahoma City Thunder fans, he has stepped up in other ways. Apparently, he has been a great locker room presence, helping to sooth player egos to keep team morale high. This is invaluable for a Thunder team that sometimes struggles to keep it's egos (Cough Cough, Westbrook) in check. Kendrick's athleticism has declined since his prime as the Celtics' starting center, but he is still entirely devoted to winning, and this is just another example of Boston's incredible culture. Coming straight to the NBA out of high-school, he literally became a man under the wing of Doc Rivers, and his game really took off once Kevin Garnett "changed the culture". Like KG, Perkins is considered by many outsiders to be a mean, dirty...

Comments from the Other Side - Wolves 12/5

Most Wolves fans still love and respect KG, which is a good thing since he was totally classy there and gave that franchise a lot.  He does love beating them now though.    Lots of ref complaints but honestly, they got as many calls as the Celtics did.   Good game for the Celtics.  Great to see them finally crashing the boards as a team.  I've highlighted my favorite...

C’s interested in Dampier, haven’t called KMart

We all know the situation… Darko’s departure has left the Celtics with an open spot, and they are considering adding a big man to help their glaring need for some productive height that can help defend the rim and maybe… possibly… grab a freakin’ rebound. Everyone keeps bringing up Kenyon Martin’s name… Well… everyone except the Celtics. “At this stage, I think...

The Thunder shot 60.6 percent from the field and did not miss a free throw until the final moments. But they still somehow couldn't shake the Nets, who hit one clutch 3-pointer...
