That NBA Lottery Pick:
We here at That NBA Lottery Pick love posting commercials starring NBA players and the latest one from the folks over at Gatorade feature two of the biggest stars in the Association.Check out Miami Heat star Dwyane Wade and Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant in a new commercial which shows one of KD's worst dreams:
BEST OF MAXIM
Kevin Durant and Dwyane Wade have teamed up with Gatorade for a pretty cool new commercial entitled Fixation.
The commercial reenacts the NBA Finals matchup between the Oklahoma City Thunder and the Miami Heat from last year’s playoffs. From the YouTube description, “Fixation is a story about the relentless inner drive of athletes to be the best they can be.” Durant even...
Oklahoma City Thunder forward Kevin Durant and Miami Heat guard Dwayne Wade combined with Gatorade to make one of the best commercials I’ve seen this year.
Check the “Fixation” commercial out here:
H/T to Slam Online for the video.
Kevin Durant and Dwayne Wade met in last season's NBA Finals when their Thunder and Heat squads clashed for the NBA crown. Wade's Heat eventually walked away as champions while Durant and OKC were left to have eyes set on returning to the Finals this season.
Fast forward to this season and it would not be out of the realm of possibility for the Thunder and Heat to meet...
Kevin Durant called last week's game at Orlando a "Must win."
Kind of strange, considering it was May. Stranger that it was Orlando.
But the stranger thing is Durant may have been right.
While the time and the place for the comment seems premature and out of line, the fact is the Thunder have to win against Orlando and the rest of the bottom feeders of the league...
There was a prediction that existed among optimistic Chicago Bulls fans that their MVP Derrick Rose would pick Wednesday to return to the lineup to vanquish the mighty Miami Heat.

The post Dwyane Wade in, Derrick Rose still out as Miami Heat go for 28th straight appeared first on Players View.
ORLANDO, Fla. Miami Heat guard Dwyane Wade sat out for the second straight game Monday night in Orlando, resting his achy right knee as the defending champs put their 26-game win streak on the line against the woeful Magic. But Wade may have reconsidered taking the precautionary evening off had he known his teammates on the court would follow suit.
Against a rebuilding Orlando...
Previously on That NBA Lottery Pick, we featured a video of Miami Heat star LeBron James tackling a fan after he hit a half-court shot.Well, over the weekend, that act repeated itself as an Oklahoma City Thunder fan by the name of Justin Dougherty drains a half-court shot for $20,000 during OKC's victory over the Portland Trail Blazers.Watch as OKC star Kevin Durant comes...
So, Nike has introduced some new superhero shoes for Lebron James, Kobe Bryant and Kevin Durant. Superhero shoes? Yeah, basically Nike had to release some new shoes for the NBA playoffs, and came up with a superhero theme. Officially, this is the Elite Series 2.0 line and, truth be told, they are pretty sweet.
There's a little bit of a sticking point, though: They violate the...
According to The Dallas Morning News, Dallas Mavericks center Chris Kaman does not like Dwyane Wade. Kaman said, I just never really got along with Dwyane Wade. I guess I [...]
Take heart, Heat. Look out, NBA.
When the Los Angeles Lakers' 33-game winning streak ended, they hit a bit of a lull before rolling through the playoffs and winning the NBA title.
That scenario likely would suit Miami just fine since the defending champions have said all along they were focused on repeating more than breaking a record.
Dwyane Wade even sounded relieved Miami...
Their winning streak finally over, the Miami Heat did on Thursday what they had planned to do all along.
They took the day off.
While the circus atmosphere around the team may slow down now - until the playoffs start, anyway - the way the reigning NBA champions go about their business over the final 11 games of the regular season probably will not. Miami's epic, historic, sometimes...
The Heat's unforgettable chase for history has come to a screeching halt at 27 games after the Bulls pulled off the upset Wednesday night. But don't fret because it's time to relive all the highlights (remarkable and ridiculous) Miami authored during this nearly two-month run.
The Harlem Shake Love 'em or hate 'em, the Miami Heat know how to have a good time...
OKLAHOMA CITY (AP) -- Russell Westbrook scored 21 points, Kevin Durant added 20 and the Oklahoma City Thunder beat the Washington Wizards 103-80 on Wednesday night.
Kevin Martin had 18 points for the Thunder, who came in 1 games behind San Antonio for the top spot in the Western Conference. San Antonio was hosting Denver.
Washington had won its previous two games against Oklahoma...
Back in the fall of 2009 I had the opportunity to do a feature story on then Seminoles star (and highly recruited McDonalds All-American) Chris Singleton. Sunshine State hoops was not what it is today, and the thought of LeBron James, Dwyane Wade, and Chris Bosh on the same team wasn’t just a pipe dream, it wasn’t even conceivable. FSU was in the middle of another...
When the Magic hired Rob Hennigan, they made no hiding the fact that the Oklahoma City Thunder and the San Antonio Spurs are their models. With the Thunder in town last week, there was glowing praise for Hennigan as a talent evaluator and for what he is beginning to build in Orlando.
The top two seeds in the Western Conference are solid models for the organization. They are both...
