It had been rumored for some time that Kevin Durant was going to ignore the precedent set by so many NBA players before him and try his hand at the rap game. A lot of us thought it was a joke because we watched the trailer for Durant’s film debut, Thunderstruck, and we figured someone close to the Oklahoma City Thunder star would tell him to chill out with the non-basketball stuff until he had a few rings and hundreds of millions of dollars. After all, you either need to be a champion or a complete lunatic to qualify for NBA-player-turned-rapper status. Unless you’re Tony Parker, because he gets the “Eh, he’s French” exemption. But speaking of lunatics, it’s Stephen Jackson AKA STAK5 that has brought Durant to our ears on his latest mixtape, “Jack of all Trades”. Durant appears on the track “Lonely at the Top”, which is an anthem for all of you who are affected by the haters out there. According to our friends at The Basketball Jones, LeBron James will also be featured on a STAK5 tra...

LOW BUDGET GOLD
Here is Reggie Jackson, Serge Ibaka, Nick Collison, Thabo Sefolosha and Kendrick Perkins of the Oklahoma City Thunder starring in one of those local television spots that turn out to be unintentional comedic gold. Usually it’s because these low budget ads are so terribly cheesy that they’re funny, but this one turned out to be quite good not because of the the horrific singing...
The Oklahoma City Thunder have picked up Reggie Jackson's option, keeping the guard under contract through the 2013-14 season.

Center Daniel Orton has rejoined the Oklahoma City Thunder, four days after being cut by the team following training camp.
General manager Sam Presti announced Wednesday that Orton signed with the Tulsa 66ers of the NBA development league and was subsequently called up by the Thunder. Oklahoma City was in need of a third center after trading away Cole Aldrich as part of the deal...

The Oklahoma City Thunder already faced a daunting task in trying to return to the NBA finals. That might have gotten even more difficult after last weekend's trade.
The Thunder now have to make another push for a title without reigning Sixth Man of the Year James Harden, a quest they begin on the road Thursday night in a Western Conference finals rematch against the San Antonio...

You’ve heard it elsewhere but hear it again here, Kevin Martin is now on the Oklahoma City Thunder and James Harden and his beard are now with the Houston Rockets. Also in the trade, Jeremy Lamb goes to OKC and Cole Aldrich plus other guys head over to Houston. Owners (or prospective owners) of Harden are the biggest winners, as he now [...]
