The Minnesota Lynx beat the Atlanta Dream Thursday night to win their second WNBA title in three seasons and Kevin Durant was definitely happy about it, sending out a tweet about his excitement for the team and his fiancee Monica Wright, a guard for the Lynx. During media availability Friday, Durant shed some more light on the game and his fiancee, noting that “she has more championships” than him now. Wright finished the game with 9 points and 3 rebounds in 24 minutes. According to Darnell Mayberry: “I was proud of how she helped her team win a championship. It was kind of tears of joy.” “I’m glad she’s my future wife. She’s got more championships than I do.” So happy for the Minnesota Lynx! I’m so proud of you @monnie22!!
