The NBA Finals re-match between the Miami Heat and the Oklahoma City Thunder was the NBA’s main showcase last night.  Featuring arguably the game’s top 2 players, many were interested to see what the outcome would be. While the game itself wasn’t that close, Miami won 110-100, one of the bigger moments was the fall of Kevin Durant who looked to be seriously hurt. To his credit he didn’t come out of the game, but check out the video courtesy of Larry Brown Sports. It will be hard not to cringe.

Stan Van Gundy: “Lebron James is Already Better Than Michael Jordan”

I know what Stan Van Gundy was trying to say when he made this quote on the Dan Le Batard Show.  It is very simple, he is simply saying at this point in his career, Lebron is a more skilled player than Michael Jordan. That part of it is based in some truth, mainly because I don’t think we have ever seen anyone as skilled and physically gifted as Lebron. He is some crazy hybrid...

CC video of the day: Westbrook walks out of media scrum

As a member of the media I know I have to choose my questions carefully whenever I am covering an NBA game. I have to quickly judge the players' mood, and craft questions based on whether the team won or loss. In other words, make sure the questions are sensible and will allow the player to talk freely for those all-important sound bites. Case in point: this reporter and...

Thursday was a chance for Oklahoma City to show itself as a worthy opponent to the Miami Heat, but after this Valentine's Day massacre, it's hard to figure there will ever be a time or a place where this team could beat that team. Spoelstra shockingly picks Bosh to replace Rondo as All-Star starter

In an earth shattering move, Miami Heat coach Erik Spoelstra has picked Chris Bosh to replace Rajon Rondo as all-star starter. Of just there’s just a little sarcasm there, but it is an obnoxious choice. For those keeping track at home, the starters for the East this year are Kevin Garnett (6’11”), Chris Bosh (6’11”), Lebron James (6’8”), Carmelo Anthony (6’8”...
