The Jason Kidd era in New York is not getting off to a great start. When the details and pictures came out about Jason Kidd’s accident he is very luckily to even be alive.
Kidd wrecked his vehicle into a pole last Sunday morning in the Hamptons and was arrested for driving while intoxicated (DWI). The point guard sustained minor injuries.
Kidd is facing a misdemeanor charge of driving while intoxicated by alcohol.
Recently Kidd took to twitter to address the incident.
-I regret any disruption my accident last weekend may have caused members of the community and want to thank the local authorities.
-I’d also like to thank my family and friends for their support.
The New York Post had some details of Kidd’s night.
He had just left a raucous East Hampton club, where he allegedly wildly swilled from bottles and danced on banquettes before getting into a blow-up with his wife when a sexy female fan asked him to pose for a photo.
A law-enforcement source described the alleged...

You’re Kidding Right? New Knick Kidd Offers Lame DUI Apology via Twitter
Ah yes, the Twitter apology
Just gimme a f-in break already. Twitter’s cool for a lot of reasons. I won’t go into them. One thing that sucks about it is that it gives today’s athletes another easy and lame way out of any sort of accountability. Back in the day, if you f-ed up — and needed/wanted to show some remorse for actions that reflected poorly or your organization —...
Chris Copeland Stands Out at Summer League
With a winless record of 0-4, the Knicks didn’t have the summer league success they may of hoped for, but at least we can take a couple of things away from the past week of games. For one, James White is an athlete. And while fans are understandably in the hunt for a shooting guard, White definitely has the potential to be a low cost, high reward player.
Aside from James White...

In the NBA there’s certian skills that some just have a knack for, stealing is one of them. Most kids grow up being taught that stealing is wrong. Not in this aspect these players were just good at taking things away from others. Let’s dive in and take a look at some of these skilled players…

Pablo Prigioni vs. Team USA and other Knicks Knacks
So team USA played Argentina today in an exhibition match. Why is this important? Newly signed Knick Point Guard Pablo Prigioni plays for them. The 35-year-old looked to be in phenomenal shape. He played all but 7 minutes in the game. Prigioni is known as a pass-first PG, which is exactly what the Knicks need. I saw A LOT of other positives. He was pretty good defensively, had great...
Carmelo Anthony Wears Sunglasses While He Sleeps
The US Men's basketball team is off to London (and they don't have to worry about any economy-class tickets neither) on their charter flight. Some of the superstars on-board, like Carmelo Anthony, took the opportunity to catch a few z's, but just because one is asleep doesn't mean it isn't important to still look good. Carmelo does just that with the rare (but...
Knicks: No More Excuses, Put Up Or Shut Up
For the New York Knicks, it’s time to either put up or shut up. The time is now. In 2009, the Knicks wanted us to “declare”. But in the video above, we come across some prophetic words of wisdom.
“This is a city of expectations, 8 million critics urging you to step up, or shut up. You gotta work for every dime. When you’re in this city, you are all in. So the...

You know those stories you hear about the tactics that deadbeat dads will take in order to avoid being served papers so they don’t have to pay child support? Well, apparently New York Knicks GM Glen Grunwald may be watching too much reality TV, because he did something very similar to avoid being served with Jeremy Lin...
Isiah Thomas still has James Dolan’s ear
While much was made of whether or not Carmelo Anthony played a role in the decision to not match the contract offer for Jeremy Lin, what was probably overlooked was that a former Knicks employee, or decision-maker for that matter, is still very much involved. For whatever reason, James Dolan still values the opinion of [...]
