Nenad Krstic and AK47 do the Macarena

No, it's not a joke. Yes, people in Russia apparently still do the Macarena. Check out the video above of our boy Curly dancing with Andrei Kirilenko and a couple other players, courtesy of The Basketball Jones. The Macarena starts at about 1:07. If you watch the whole thing, you will get to see a plethora of other horrible dance moves.

(Video) ‘Macarena’ Dance Has Reached Russia, And Andrei Kirilenko Is Doing It

Boy, that’s two minutes of awkward right there. Sheesh. What could Andrei Kirilenko have possibly been thinking? I dunno, man. Granted, the guy does have one wicked cool and massive back tattoo featuring a paladin riding dragon, but the Macarena? That’s a pretty awkward thing to see. Yet I suppose we cannot fault the guy [...]

This is a video from Russia of Andrei Kirilenko dancing the Macarena

I’m guessing that this was hosted by Kirilenko’s new Russian team, which would honestly make me look at the Heat’s “welcome party” from last off-season in an entirely new light. (I’m not sure if I would like it more, I’d just think of it differently.) If Kirilenko’s giant World of Warcraft back tattoo had…

Video: Andrei Kirlenko and Nenad Krstic celebrate CSKA Moscow with dance medley

It was an odd way to celebrate a big signing, but presumably this is just how they roll in Russia. We shouldn't judge other countries for customs that we don't understand. Maybe an AK-47 augurs good luck. It appears that assault weapons are not the only thing that...

Andrei Kirilenko, Nenad Krstic & Friends Do The Macarena

I have no clue exactly why Andrei Kirilenko, Nenad Krstic and that cat who looks to be former NBA player Viktor Khryapa are dancing on stage. But skip to the 1:06 mark if you want to A) get sent into a time machine and B) laugh. Or you can just watch the two ladies in [...]

Video: Andrei Kirilenko, Nenad Krstic Do the Macarena Dance

In Russia, the Macarena is apparently still a thing, and the video above shows Andrei Kirilenko and Nenad Krstic dancing to it. Poorly and hilariously. (H/T: TBJ)

When I Dance They Call Me Kirilenko

CSKA Moscow, Andrei Kirilenko's new professional team in Russia, had its Media Day recently. Naturally, this involved the players breaking into three groups and dancing to Muzak and outdated pop songs on a stage in a giant banquet hall somewhere in Moscow. More »

Kirilenko Brings The Macarena Back

Based on this video of Andrei Kirilenko and Nenad Krstic doing the Macarena which was last seen dead in the north america dance grave beside the Lambada. In the year 2082, the “Dougie” will still be kicking @ss and taking names in Russia.
