The New York Knicks (1-0) beat the Miami Heat (1-1) 104-84, last night at Madison Square Garden from New York, NY. Carmelo Anthony and rest of the Knicks team told the fans yesterday that hurricane Sandy was a horribe storm that ruined NYC and he also told the fans that we will pull through together as New Yorker's. Later on, the Knicks dominanted the game against the Heat in every aspect of the game on offense, defense and they did the little things as well. Game Stats: Carmelo Anthony was fantastic yesterday by scoring 30 points and grabbed 10 rebounds earning a double-double. Raymond Felton is back with the Knicks and he made an impact by dropping 14 points, made 9 assists, grabbed 4 rebounds and had 3 steals on the night. Jason Kidd made his Knicks debut scoring 12 points, made 3 three-pointers, grabbed 4 rebounds and made 3 assists. Steve Novak is the best pure shooter in the NBA by making 5 three pointers which added to 17 points to his game. Tyson Chandler scored 10 points and grabbed 8 rebounds, despite he had 5 fouls in 25 minutes. J.R. Smith scored 11 points, made 6 assists and grabbed 3 rebounds. Final Thoughts: This was an emotional night for the Knicks fans at the Garden last night and the Knicks were motivated by their energy which led to them crushing the Heat in a very good way. It was the very first sporting in New York City since hurricane Sandy came through New York. The New York Knicks will host the Philadelphia 76ers in Madison Square Garden at 12:00 pm on MSG.
