New York Knicks power forward Amare Stoudemire scored 15 points in his return to the lineup in Friday's loss to the Cleveland Cavaliers.
Stoudemire had missed 13 games with a bulging disk in his back. He had been sidelined since March 24.
His return failed to inspire the Knicks, who saw their lead over Philadelphia for seventh place in the Eastern Conference cut to a half-game.
Stoudemire, who got into early foul trouble, is averaging 17.5 points and 7.9 rebounds.
