With Carmelo Anthony's ongoing knee problems and the Knicks struggled overall for the the last couple of months, Mike Woodson has every reason to be worried. The New York Knicks coach is leading the team into the playoffs, but once they reach the postseason, how far can they go?According to Ian Begley of ESPN New York, Woodson has some concerns about Anthony going forward. Anthony had fluid drained from his knee on Thursday and has missed four out of the team's last six games. Anthony has been a big part of the Knicks' success this season, so his absence is a big concern."When a key guy goes down that's a big piece, a major piece to your puzzle, sure you've got to worry," Woodson said. "There's no doubt I'm worried. There's no doubt that I'm worried about Carmelo. But I'm worried about our team as a whole with how we're playing. Coming out of that Utah game at home these past two games have been a nightmare for all of us."Anthony had been battling knee issues leading up to a fall in which he tripped over his own feet. He banged his knees hard off the court in that fall, and that incident seems to put the knee pain over the top. Anthony had to leave the Knicks recent road trip to head back to New York for treatment. It's a bad sign, but the team is trying to stay positive. Anthony's presence on the court changes the game. He may not be the type of player to get others around him involved, but there's no questioning his ability to score. Anthony is averaging 27.5 points per game this season.
