Knicks Journal :
In most recent years, the Knicks have left fans hanging their heads in disappointment as New York continued to fail at beating the worse-off teams in the league. Despite the evident talent on rosters of the past, no clutch gene was consistently found in such squads, as the Knicks were left losing to teams they should have and could have defeated on a nightly basis. But the 2012-13 season continues to be different than a bevy of others in recent memory for the Knickerbockers. This campaign instead draws ongoing parallels to successful teams of the past, undoubtedly with good reason.New York put some of those very reasons on display Monday night, as the team defeated the Pistons for what was their fifth straight victory at home by a score of 99-85.Able to set a dominating tone early on in the contest, the Knicks were propelled by the strong early efforts of Carmelo Anthony. After taking it easy in his team's win over the Kings this past Saturday, the forward returned to his efficie...

I managed to catch up with New York Knicks All-Star center Tyson Chandler after Wednesday’s game against the Washington Wizards. The Knicks loss snapped a five game win streak and a ten game streak over the Wizards. Chandler feels as though all of his teammates weren’t giving a full effort and that the team felt [...]
Tweet Heading into Wednesday’s game against the New York Knicks the Washington Wizards were owners of a 12-35 record, placing them fourteenth of fifteen NBA Eastern Conference teams. You wouldn’t be alone in wondering how much better Washington would be had John Wall been available from the opening game, instead of since January 12 [...]
You might not be able to tell by his numbers, but J.R. Smith is having arguably the best season of his career. The ultra-talented shooting guard has long been known for his wildness and unpredictability, but this year he has shown at least some discipline in helping the Knicks rise to the top of the Atlantic Division.
Smith is still capable of moments like the one that occurred Monday...

Tonight the Knicks were able to extract some revenge from earlier in the season when they lost in Sacramento on a buzzer beater by blowing the Kings out of the Garden tonight. The game got off to a slow start, as the starters just did not have it in the beginning; it was a different story once the bench got into the game...
