Imagine yourself the General Manager of the NY Knicks. Sitting behind the desk and in charge of one of the most powerful teams in the NBA. If you look over the roster and look at your positives and negatives, you can see that 2 glaring needs are glowing. NY needs a solid big to help the injured frontline and most importantly, a back-up point guard who can score and create. This is a must for the struggling J-Kidd and Pablo Prigioni.
Enter Luke Ridnour, Luke is a 6’2” 175 lb. point guard that has great shooting skills, especially off screens and picks. This year he is averaging 12 points and 4 assists on 44% from the field. He can drive the lane and create for his teammates. This is something that Knicks do not have, besides Carmelo Anthony of course. JR Smith can create, but he is not a point guard and should not be put in the situation to handle the ball and create for others.
Luke is that answer. At first I was not interested in Luke. I think his defensive deficiencies are too obv...

Knicks star Amar'e Stoudemire is catching some flak for tweeting that former LAPD officer Christopher Dorner's manifesto is "interesting" and "a must read."
Since returning from his irritating knee injury, Amar’e Stoudemire is playing some of the best basketball we’ve seen, but how long will that last for the New York Knicks?
There were times earlier in the season that Stoudemire looked old, slow and not involved in the games. Will he revert back to this?
Maybe the Knicks should aim-high and sell at his highest potential?... Read more
Sources tell me the #Knicks are shopping Ronnie Brewer. Not sure for who. J. O’Neal (via trade) & L. Amundson (via pickup) are also targets.

Are the Knicks sending out feelers on some of their players? It is clear the Knicks are in need of some front-court help. I am interested to find out what it would cost the Knicks...
It’s no secret that the Knicks are notoriously slow starters in the 1st quarter. It has become a growing trend where the Knicks open up with a dreadful 1st quarter, play a good 2nd quarter to cut the halftime deficit to a reasonable margin, trade leads in the 3rd and then hope to gain an edge in the 4th quarter and pull away. Although the Knicks are statistically one of the...
Sources: Knicks showing strong interest in Phx’s Jermaine O’Neal…Phx also talking w/Toronto about moving Sebastian Telfair
— Chris Broussard (@Chris_Broussard) February 20, 2013
Depending on what they have to give up, this would be a solid pick up for NY. Jermaine O’Neal is a veteran who is having a very good year, averaging 7 points and 4.5 rebounds in 16...
Prior to the season starting, any New York Knicks fan would have signed up for their current situation at the All-Star Break. It is hard to complain about 32-18, a 2.5 game lead in the Atlantic Division and still being in striking distance of Miami for the #1 seed (4 games back). Beyond that, Amare Stoudemire has had a relatively seamless transition into becoming a bench player,...
The New York Knicks thoroughly embarrassed themselves from start to finish tonight in Indiana, getting blown out 125-91. This game was never close as they were trailing by 30…yes 30 points at the half. It was a gutless, lazy, sloppy 48 minutes of basketball from a team who talks about being a serious contender. There was a serious contender in the Eastern Conference on the floor...
I have to be perfectly frank with you, as a “Player” I have never been that impressed with JR Smith, but as a “Playa” he seems to know what he is doing.
From Tahiry, Rihanna and others, JR is the NBA version of Black Dynamite. K Michelle was singing love songs to him and saying she would do anything to sleep with him again, on various public forums. Some guys might...

Knicks vs. Pacers
The Knicks went into the All-Star break on a sour note losing three of their last four games. They will look to turn things around starting in Indiana Wednesday night. This will be the third time this season the Knicks and Pacers face off, with each team getting a win on their home court thus far.

Knicks @ Pacers: MSG 7pm
The Knicks are back and facing one of their toughest tests and oldest rivals, the Indiana Pacers. The Pacers sit just 1.5 games behind the Knicks. The two teams split their two matchups this far, with both teams unable to break 90 points in a game. The Pacers boast the second best home record in the East, at 21-5. The Pacers strength is their defense and...
When asked if it is false that Iman Shumpert and his camp are not content with the Knicks, agent Happy Walters replied: "Yes. Totally false."
Every Wednesday at Turn On The Knicks our staff will debate an issue of the week surrounding the team here in Roundtable Format. Make sure to give everybody a follow on Twitter, along with follow the site right here. Let us know if you agree/disagree

The Magic and Knicks have had discussions about a deal that would send J.J. Redick to New York and Iman Shumpert to Orlando, according to Alex Kennedy of HoopsWorld
With both veteran big men shelved due to bummed hoofs suffered long before Barack Obama’s second term in the Oval Office, Marcus Camby and Rasheed Wallace finally completed an entire practice as New York Knicks on Tuesday. Hence, for the … Continue reading →
