Larry Brown Sports:
Carmelo Anthony has spent the last couple of weeks doing two important things: recovering from injury and trying to convince people he has no problem with Jeremy Lin running the Knicks. Earlier in the week, the team tried to help him by leaking a story that claimed Anthony was the one who told Mike D’Antoni that he should play Lin. If that sounds unlikely, that’s because it didn’t happen.
On Monday, D’Antoni was asked about the story and it was obvious that it was the first he had heard about it. He told reporters he didn’t remember the conversation. It’s safe to assume he would remember it if it actually happened. According to the NY Daily News, it never did.
The Garden also pursued on an image makeover by leaking a story that it was Anthony who suggested to D’Antoni that Lin get a chance. However, D’Antoni denied that account on Monday, which undoubtedly is not sitting well with Dolan and perhaps also with Anthony. It’s like that old Godfather line: “Don’t ever take sides against ...

So the New York Knicks got slaughtered last night by the hands of the Nets. And this is with Carmelo Anthony back in the lineup……Carmelo Anthony Sucks Meme just waiting in the wing…..
This Knicks fan didn't have the coin to spend $42,388 on the Jeremy Lin jersey that was auctioned off for charity (the package also included four tickets to the Knicks-Hawks game a J-Lin meet and greet). And apparently Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony doesn't tickle his fancy anymore. So, instead of going online or even hitting the NYC streets for a Jeremy Lin replica jersey...
The Miami Heat pummeled the New York Knicks, 102-88, Thursday night. Jeremy Lin had his worst game since the beginning of Linsanity, hitting just 1-of-11 shots and turning the ball over eight times.
Lin finished with eight points, six rebounds, three assists and three steals. He also hit all six of his free throws. Chalk it up as one bad night and be thankful that the all-star...
One recurring theme last night was a Miami Heat defenders stealing the ball from the Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin; then driving down the court to throw down a massive slam. Most of the dunks were done with style and grace, except for this one. Norris Cole made a clean steal from Lin, but when he dunked the ball he landed on his side. Lin had to be giggling inside after the dunk.
MIAMI -- The hottest team versus the hottest story.
Linsanity is on its way to Miami, and the Heat can finally say they're eager for the arrival.
It may be the NBA's marquee matchup so far this season, the phenomenon that is New York Knicks guard Jeremy Lin...
Things have gotten really interesting in New York lately. The New York Knicks were looking really foolish for waiving Chauncey Billupsbefore the season started but are now looking like geniuses with the emergenceof Jeremy Lin. On top of waiving Billups they were depending on a rookiepoint guard and a second year shooting guard to get them over the hump untilBaron Davis was deemed...
NEW YORK (AP) - Carmelo Anthony is set to rejoin the Knicks' starting lineup and take part in the Linsanity for the first time since it began sweeping New York. The All-Star forward was in the starting lineup Monday night for the New York's game against the New Jersey Nets. Knicks ...
Sudden New York Knicks star Jeremy Lin was brought back to reality when New Jersey Nets point guard Deron Williams took him to school in a recent contest at Madison Square Garden.
Wilson Chandler, the dynamic small forward known most recently for his overseas play, is looking to get back into the NBA. Smart money has been placed on the former Knicks first-round pick heading back to Denver where he provided 13 points and five rebounds per game after being dealt in the Carmelo Anthony trade last season.
And while it is assumed he would prefer flexibility, desiring...
At least one person wasn’t booing Kris Humphries at the Garden on Monday night.
Humphries, in an appearance on ESPN Radio yesterday, said he and Knicks point guard Jeremy Lin ran into each other following the Nets’ 100-92 win, and Lin told him the Garden crowd was overly hostile...
