PLAYERS: Chris Smith
TEAMS: New York Knicks
#Knicks announce they have signed Toure and Chris Smith. Non-guaranteed deals. — Jared Zwerling (@JaredZwerling) September 11, 2013   Knickswag Notes: Toure Murry is an intriguing prospect. Even though NY is guard heavy at the moment, and lacking in “bigs” Murry screams defense and team play, all constants in coach Woodson’s philosophy. He is the kind of young player the Knicks should be looking to mold into a solid rotation contributor. Chris Smith on the other hand is a player that has very little shot to make the team, unless he blows them away with his shooting ability, which not very likely. The last 2 years in Knicks summer league ,and in training camp, Chris has not shown that he can compete at the NBA level. If not for his brother J.R. on the team, Chris would not get this invite.
