The Windy Apple:
The Knicks have announced the signing of 6-8 forward, Chris Copeland. Playing the last 5 years in Europe, Copeland was invited to play on the Knicks summer league team in Las Vegas. In 2 games last week, he averaged 12.5 points, 3 rebounds, and 2 blocks per game. The power forward put up impressive numbers with the Okapi Alastar in Belgium over the last 2 years- posting 18.5 points and 5.6 rebounds a game (63 games).
Copeland has been signed to a non-guaranteed deal, and will join the Knicks at training camp with a chance to make the team.

With the trade to bring former Knicks Raymond Felton and Kurt Thomas back to New York now official, hope that the team will match Jeremy Lin's offer sheet with the Rockets continues to fade.Losing Lin would be devastating, to say the least. His impact and value both on and off the court makes him a key potential piece to the puzzle moving forward. Whether he played alongside...
After being informed the Rockets' poison pill (re: Jeremy Lin) became that much more deadly with the altered terms, the Knicks took to the phones. Working feverishly to seek out other potential alternatives, the team didn't have to look very far. With that, a former Knick and rumored offseason target will be returning to the Big Apple. The Knicks agreed to a sign & trade...
The New York Knicks troubles continued as the team decides if Jeremy Lin is worth $58.3 million in 2014-15.
The New York Post reports that if the Knicks matched the Rockets offer sheet for Lin, owner James Dolan could pay the $58.3 million because of the new CBA's luxury-tax penalties.
The Knicks seem to have decided to pair Jason Kidd with a cheaper point-guard in Raymond Felton...
With news breaking that Raymond Felton was coming back to New York and the team did not have plans on matching Houston’s offer sheet to Jeremy Lin, fans everywhere are surprised. And apparently, some Knicks fans are not happy. At all.
Fans have started a petition to Knicks management to keep Jeremy Lin in town. The Harvard graduate was an instant fan favorite, as he was a huge...
The NY Post exclusively ran Jason Kidd’s mug shot on their cover today:
While Mike Woodson keeps tight lipped, J.R. Smith opened up to Sam Amick of Sports Illustrated today while in Vegas about the Jeremy Lin contract saga: “I’m sure the city would love to have him back, but the team decided to go in a different direction. It’s nothing personal, I don’t think, just business. We just hope everybody can benefit from here.”
Smith did not...

After partying with celebrities in the Hamptons, allegedly getting “lit up [like] July 4” at a rowdy bar and then drunkenly battling with his wife over a female fan, new Knick Jason Kidd slammed his luxury SUV into a telephone pole this weekend and was busted on DWI charges. And the drama didn’t stop there. Although he suffered only minor injuries in the Water Mill crash,...
NiuBBall: JR Smith’s former CBA team has replaced him with Quincy Douby. This probably doesn’t interest you now, but you’ll chuckle this spring when I tell you how much better they got (you may recall that Smith’s team failed to make the playoffs, something that’s never happened to a Douby-led squad). Fun Fact: Douby set a CBA Finals record when he scored 53 points...
Welcome to New York Jason Kidd. The newly signed Knicks point guard was arrested early Sunday morning on a DUI. Of course details are still under wraps but for now, here’s what we do know. Kidd, 39, was arraigned on a misdemeanor DWI charge on Sunday morning in Southampton Town Justice Court and released on [...]
Do we want to go into next season with Ray Felton and Jason Kidd as our point guards? Felton in 2012 is not the same as Felton in 2010. I question if he is in NBA basketball shape and if he can recover his outside shooting--only 30% from beyond the arc last year. Similarly, If Jason Kidd's recent DWI arrest is an indication of how he intends to behave off court, I would...
