Looked like a sure thing 2 weeks ago. Now it looks like the Knicks wont make the playoffs. Melo needs to go, he is Marberry part2, Linsanity is over and the coach needs to go, its bad when your coach is losing the games not the players on the court. See yall next season cuz this one might be ova.

Knicks Coach Herb Williams Talks Coaching Strategy, The Return of Josh Harrellson

As the Knicks continue to learn, being able to secure victories against contending teams will come down to how well they matchup to the different arrays of talent. Being able to exploit the different mismatches in their favor, as well as cope with the ones against them, will only benefit the Knicks as they adjust lineups accordingly. The Knicks’ coaching staff certainly...

Carmelo Anthony not comfortable playing with Jeremy Lin

According to a recent article from The New York Times, Knicks forward Carmelo Anthony is not yet comfortable playing with Jeremy Lin. After Anthony went down with a groin injury that forced him to miss seven games in February, Lin became the starting point guard for the Knicks, and “Linsanity” was born. The Knicks went 6-1 in Anthony’s absence but have been 2-4 since. ...

Celebrating the 5 Minutes That Was “Linsanity”

In spite of his likelihood to be named, Player of the Month, Knicks Wunderkind, Jeremy Lin, is not yet safe from a potential demotion. The New York Post reported earlier today that, following the recently superior efforts of the Knicks bench squad, Coach Mike D’Antoni may be considering a shake up in the starting five. The reasoning behind this contemplation is partially due...

MSG president gave Rockets GM Daryl Morey Jeremy Lin jersey as thank you joke

Rockets GM Daryl Morey already admitted he made a mistake by waiving point guard Jeremy Lin, but MSG president Scot O’Neil still felt the need to rub it in last week. At the MIT Sloan Sports Analtyics Conference last week, O’Neil handed Morey a Jeremy Lin Knicks jersey. One person in attendance says it was a thank you for helping to discover Lin, but we’re guessing it was...

Lin: Mavs did great job with defensive stops

DALLAS - Jeremy Lin's second game against the Mavericks was nowhere near as successful as his first. The overnight sensation was in the middle of "Linsanity" when he scored 28 and dished out 14 assists in a 104-97 nationally televised win over Dallas last month. Tuesday night was much more of a struggle for the 23-year-old point guard. Lin, who was on the floor for...

Is Carmelo A Problem For the Knicks

February Lin-sanity appeared to have tempered the vitriol and disappointment directed toward the underachieving New York Knicks. However, the ides of March have resurrected the drama and uncertainty that surrounded the franchise throughout the first month and a half of the season. A tornado of blame and finger pointing has descended upon Madison Square Garden. In the peripherals of the Knicks

Knicks raise prices, lower results

The way the New York Knicks are going now, it would have been easier for Knicks fans to go to Coney Island and ride a blue and orange roller coaster for a while rather than watch this team's crazy highs and lows.   It'd be cheaper, too. The Knicks have announced another ticket increasethis year.  This one is only 4.9% (compared to 49% last year for some seats) and it...

Report: New York Knicks Raising Ticket Prices Again After 49 Percent Hike Last Season

A decimal point can make a huge difference, but an increase is an increase. After hiking the price of season tickets 49 percent last offseason, the Knicks reportedly plan to increase season ticket prices a mere 4.9 percent. A seat in one section that costs $1,600 this season will be $2,650, NewsDay reports, to watch a team that -- even after the arrival of Jeremy Lin -- is barely...

Stoudemire uses program to drop weight

Amar'e Stoudemire began a weight-loss program 10 days ago in an attempt to shed 15 pounds, and the results were evident Tuesday night. The Knicks forward told the New York Post he has already dropped about 10 pounds in 10 days, getting down to 250 pounds from 260. Stoudemire said the goal is to get to 245 pounds. He looked quicker and more explosive Tuesday, racking up 26 points...

Paul Pierce > New York Knicks, Rajon Rondo > Jeremy Lin

When I left the Garden back on Feb. 3rd, I was certain that the Celts/Knicks game I had just witnessed was the most entertaining of the year so far (Boston won 91-89).  And then Sunday happened.  As Paul Pierce pulled up for that off balance three with seven seconds left, I figured it had no chance, and that the game was over.  But somehow it rattled in, the building exploded...

Before Tip-Off: Neal to start, Smith wants Knicks to stay focused

SAN ANTONIO, TX - As I was taking an elevator inside the AT&T Center, word came out that tonight's San Antonio Spurs (25-12) vs. New York Knicks (18-20) game has been called a "sell out."No it's not the playoffs, no it's not a jersey retirement night, it's "Linsanity." The Knicks and media star Jeremy Lin are in town and the building is buzzing...

Scouting the Knicks: 'Linsanity' comes to San Antonio

The San Antonio Spurs (25-12) return to action tonight after a “rare” two days off in this condensed NBA season. The Spurs will be looking to rebound from Sunday’s loss at home to the Denver Nuggets as the Spurs are finally fully healthy, but struggling (1-2) coming out of the All-Star break. The Spurs’ opponent tonight is a team that has caught major attention from fans...
