Pro Sports Daily:
The New York Knicks still have a couple of contracts to hand out before training camp begins and continue to bring in players that could potentially fill a small role on next year’s club.
They did that on Wednesday by holding workouts for a couple veteran big men in Sean May and D.J. White.
May 29 was selected 13th overall by the Bobcats in the 2005 draft. However the UNC product ended up only playing a total of 119 NBA games with Charlotte and Sacramento most recently in 2009/10 before heading overseas.
Last season May played for Paris-Levallois averaging 18.4 PPG and 7.8 RPG in 29 French League contests.
White was a first-round pick of the Detroit Pistons in 2008 and also has had problems making a name for himself in the NBA although he is a bit more functional and could add to the Knicks bench.

As all Knick fans know by now, J.R. Smith underwent a knee procedure last month and is expected to miss some playing time in the regular season, perhaps the first week or two.
As I look at the schedule, in my humbled opinion, the beginning of the season shouldn’t be all that challenging for the Knicks, even without the reigning 6th Man of the Year award winner....
Beno Udrih put importance in joining a championship contending team and believes the New York Knicks can reach that level. Even so, he knows the team must elevate its desire for intangibles.
"What it takes is just to be a team and to definitely have good players," Udrih said. "There has to be chemistry and everything has to be right. That's how it was in San...
Former NBA guard Cuttino Mobley is hoping that dropping a lawsuit against the New York Knicks will allow him to finally get back into the league.
Mobley sued MSG in 2011, and claimed that they forced him to retire in order to collect insurance money on his contract. Sources say that Mobley decided to drop the lawsuit because it wasn’t going anywhere.
The lawsuit stated that...

As if the first clash between the New York Knicks and the Brooklyn Nets on December 5th wasn’t enough to get fans pumped, excited, and on the edge of their seats, new Nets small forward, Paul Pierce has recently expressed his utmost hate for the Knicks, adding more fuel to the already rabid flames.
On a roster loaded with veteran players at each position on the depth chart, it is going to be tough to earn some playing time as a young player on the New York Knicks roster this upcoming season. As of right now the Knicks have four players under the age of 25 on the roster, including Iman Shumpert (23), Jeremy Tyler (22), and rookies C.J. Leslie (22) and Tim Hardaway Jr. (21)....

Mike Bibby wants to play one more season in the NBA.
Bibby sat out the 2012-13 season, which would have been his 15th since being drafted 2nd overall out of Arizona in 1998.

And then there was one.
With the signing of Beno Udrih this week the Knicks' roster has reached 14 players with just one more spot to fill.
So who could that player be? While the Knicks remain interested in their summer league point guard Toure Murry -- he received a training camp invite while in Las Vegas -- they now have three point guards (and even J.R. Smith and Iman Shumpert...
New York Knicks guard JR Smith was seen rocking a blond hairdo earlier this week, but the color change was short lived. Why is that you ask?
