Over the past 24 hours, many top stars in the NBA are suggesting that Mike Brown got fired, not because of the Los Angeles Lakers (then) 1-4 record, but cause of one man.... Kobe Bryant.According to sources, many inside the L.A. Lakers began looking at Kobe during the team's practices and notice that Bryant (although presented a happy appearance) wasn't happy at all with the direction the Lakers were going. It's being said that executives began hearing about how unhappy Kobe was and decided that it would be best to keep their star happy and cut Mike Brown. One of the executives who heard that Kobe Bryant was unhappy and decided that it was time that Brown should end his SHORT stint with the team was Phil Jackson's girlfriend Jeanie Buss. Although her and the other executives couldn't officially pull the plug on Mike Brown, she along with the others pitched the idea to L.A. Lakers owner Jerry Buss (who's the father of Jeanie Buss) to fire Brown. Some believe that the L.A. Lakers couldn't move on from Phil Jackson aka they needed to win one more championship before letting Phil retire "in peace".On Friday, Kobe Bryant talked about the firing of Mike Brown on his Facebook page, something which was asked for him to do by team executives so that he wouldn't be pictured as the fall guy for getting Mike Brown fired."Though day. I've seen coaches as well as friends come and go. No matter how many years I've been playing. It's still hard to deal with. I had a good relationship with Mike and I will continue to have one. I wish him and his family nothing but the best. I spoke with him today (Friday) and thanked him for all his hard work and sacrifice," Bryant wrote on his Facebook status wall.Where was all the love when Kobe gave Mike Brown the "stare of death" during their loss to the Utah Jazz (below).Lebron James (who played for Mike Brown when the two were in Cleveland) tried to speak about the matter on Friday. James spoke with ESPN, "I've got a lot to say, but I'm not going to say it right now," but before James could end his thoughts about the matter, a Miami PR person cut the interview short, which is making some believe that James believes that Brown was fired by Kobe.Lamar Odom (former L.A. Lakers now L.A. Clippers star) suggested that Bryant had something to do with Bryant being fired. When a TMZ camera paparazzo asked Odom whether or not Bryant played any part in Brown being fried by the Lakers, Odom gave this for an answers (without any PR person around). "What's the most important tool in America? It's power."Can we all say that Brown received the SCREW JOB by Los Angeles?

  • I'm sure Kobe wasn't happy with LOSING and possibly the Practicing of an offense that wasn't working for their talents, or that ignored specific talents lets say. So What? everyone has there own opinion when something stinks and everyone is pointing fingers.
I'm sure everyone smelled it and had some thoughts...again whats the big news there? Professionally it wasn't his call. Why Whine or complain The big guys were on it!
