  • i got two words for Kobe IDENTITY THEFT!!! Everything he has ever done pertaining to the game he stole from M.J. The way he walk, the way he talk during interviews, the way he shoot, the way he dunk, the way he move his facial expression..everything thing he do is just like mike..and he had the nerve to say in an interview that he studied oscar robinson and other greats and never mention M.J. KNOWING DAMN well anyone who grew up in that era knew M.J. was and will always be the KING!!! He can win 20 rings an he will never be M.J. When your so FAKE an cant pay your respect to a player that took the NBA TO THE NEXT LEVEL.. thats why i cant stand Kobe he phony and that short vidio just proved everthing i was always saying about him..aka M.J. 1 FAN!!!
  • Can't agree more, but the only problem is that Kobe is a bad copy of Mike as the stats above prove. Can't say that I'm a Kobe fan due to fact that grew up in the "Jordan Era" and MIke did it on a level that had never been seen and really can't be duplicated. Many have tried and many have failed. People forget that Mike came into the league and he was NBA ready. Kobe sat the bench a lot of his rookie year and had to learn how to play the NBA game on a stacked Lakers squad that he shot out of the playoffs against Utah with 3 straight airballs late in the game. Jordan is undefeated in the NBA finals and that's including retiring to play baseball and coming back to win 3 straight rings. Can't even call Kobe the most dynamic player in the game and thats after trying to steal MJ's mojo because there is a guy named LeBron that can score, pass, rebound, and block a few shots here and there. Btw..just because you get ready to make a move and you put your tounge out don't give you the right to be compared to His Airness. Simply put, Jordan is a "Brand" and Kobe is merely a "name" so stop comparing the two.
  • Wow, your comment stinks of ignorance....how did Kobe not pay respect to Jordan...He even said in interview that MJ is the best ever...Also MJ says in inteviews(find them on youtube) that Kobe is the only one that can be compared to himself..I think MJ right now is the greatest but his Hall of Fame speech was pretty self absorbing, dont you think??? Also how can you hate on a player because he has the same style as MJ? Thats just assinine to say because basketball has been around for so long you can only revolutionize the game so many times? Kobe has added pieces to his game that MJ never had...multiple left handed shots in games..The Dream shake, not to mention he has the most ridiculous collection of the toughest shots you will ever see anyone make...Ill take the word of 90% of the NBA players who says Kobe is the best in the world over some 2-bit analyst who doesnt have an athletic bone in his body..For the guy below this comment Kobe came into the league when he was 17 and was schooling Lakers at camp and practices that summer at 17, they didnt play him much because it would have pissed the old vets off...So you guys need to get your facts straight and quit hatin on the Mamba....clowns
  • KOBE and MJ come from the same stock. They are %100 similar. they are not like MAGIC, they are different.
  • I didn't watch the video before I posted my earlier comment but now that I have, I'm pissed off. All they did was show a bunch of fadeaways and and pullup jumpers that many and any NBA star player makes. I've seen Carmelo make half of those shots and dunk on people like that. I've seen Paul Pierce and LeBron make shots just like that. WTF? Kobe probably made that video because he wants people to respect him more because he thinks he's like Mike. That reverse layup they showed didn't even look like the one MJ did. Not to say that Kobe isn't a good player because he is in his own right, but he is NOT and will NEVER be better or more respected than Jordan. End of discussion.
  • you cant compare m.j and kobe there from two diffrent eras of the game and for all of you who dont respect kobe are dumb. he is the best player in the league and this era. i believe m.j is one of the best maybe the best of all time but you cant take kobe out the runnig. kobe plays against better players that are faster stronger and bigger and more fundemently trained m.j and kobe are there own people and ddo there own things. i wish everyone would stop comparing them
  • Well people REALLY need to stop hating on KOBE , at the end of the day , there is NO ONE , AND I SAID NO ONE who will ever compare closer to MJ than KB , Now that being said , they ARE both GREAT players , Kobe is NOT a copy of anything or any person ,, KOBE is KOBE BRYANT , un-like any other person on this Planet ( THE BLACK MAMBA ),, and a BAD Mother ( shut your mouth ).. SO stop the hatin on one of the GREATEST PLAYERS to ever play the GAME of BASKETBALL ,,, Much Love to all ,, GO LAKERS,, BIG MIKE from the NOLA
