In 2005 Kobe ran into a Memphis fan while chasing a ball out of bounds. The man, Bill Geeslin, was an insurance agent and sued Bryant for $75,000.
“I recall a fast-paced incident seeing him come to me, running into me and then forearming me…..He intentionally forearmed me in the chest. He did not apologize. He walked away and pushed…..he kind of pushed his arm toward me and glared at me and walked away.” – Geeslin
Bill passed away in ’08 but his estate continued on with the lawsuit and now 7 years later, settled with Kobe out of court for an undisclosed amount.
