Kobe Bryant has already been to South America, Europe and Asia so far this off-season, but the Black Mamba isn’t done traveling just yet. In September, Bryant will journey to Dubai for the “Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness Weekend” where he will coach a celebrity basketball game – among other activities – according to Alarabiya.com: Sports fans in Dubai are anxiously awaiting next month’s arrival of Basketball legend Kobe Bryant. The “Kobe Bryant Health & Fitness Weekend” is in support of diabetes awareness, and will be held on Sept 26 and 27. He will make a number of appearances throughout the weekend, which will be rounded off with a celebrity basketball game in Knights Arena at the American University in Dubai. Bryant, who plays for the Los Angeles Lakers, will be warming up and coaching his celebrity Team Black Mamba, which will take on legends Real Madrid. He will also coach a basketball-skills clinic to give his fans an opportunity to interact with, and be inspired by, the man who is fourth on the all-time National Basketball Association career scoring list with 32,292 points. Kobe Bryant truly is a global brand and is loved all over the world. As always, it’ll interesting to see the kind of reception Bryant receives while overseas.
