Kobe Bryant made an interesting comparison when talking about Andre Iguodala.credit: wikipedia.org In the midst of the Los Angeles Lakers acquiring Dwight Howard, the Nuggets also made a big move in the same trade, bringing swingman Andre Iguodala to town. Both teams have had their fair share of troubles so far this year, struggling to adjust to some moving pieces. Kobe Bryant has some high praise for Iggy, comparing him to one of the best defenders in NBA history. Via the LA Times: “I’ve been a fan of his since he came out of Arizona,” said Lakers All-Star Kobe Bryant, who has a strong relationship with Iguodala off the court.  “I’ve always tried to look out for him as much as I could, talk to him about the game and things like that. I’m just happy for him to be in a situation where he feels comfortable.” Bryant and Iguodala share the same agent, Rob Pelinka of the Landmark Sports Agency. “He does a good job.  He’s a very good defender,” said Bryant.  “He’s ‘Pippenesque’ in terms of his length and his ability to cover ground.” That’s quite the comparison, huh? Iguodala certainly has some Pippen-like traits. He’s a pretty balanced offensive player, on top of being an elite perimeter defender who can guard the best perimeter players in the league. It would be great to see Iggy play on a team where he can play a wingman role like what Pippen did with the Bulls. -Mark Evans, Assistant Manager/Editor of Content Follow us on Twitter The post Kobe Compares Iguodala To Scottie Pippen appeared first on Pass The Pill.
