Kobe not caught up in Lin-sanity

Knicks fans' hysteria at the Friday night showdown between Kobe Bryant and Jeremy Lin at Madison Square Garden apparently had yet to reach the Lakers star in Boston. Bryant pleaded ignorance Thursday night when asked for his response to the "Linsanity" in New York. "What? No idea," Bryant told the New York Post after seeing off the Celtics 88-87 in overtime -- and when pressed further admitted, "I have no idea what you guys are talking about." Bryant said he was familiar with the Harvard graduate, who made a cameo when the teams met in late December, but apparently was unaware of his recent breakout success with the Knicks. "I know who he is, but I don't really know what's going on too much with them," he said. "I don't even know what he's done ... I'll take a look at [the tape] [Thursday night], though." Bryant will see a highlights reel of Lin compiling 76 points in three games, along with 25 assists. But when asked if he would be prepared to cover the point guard, Bryant could only laugh, before adding, "I appreciate the question, though."
