Kyle Lowry dominated in just 15 minutes tonight. The Toronto Raptors point guard sprained his ankle in the first half and wasn't expected to return. But Lowry gutted out the fourth quarter and finished with 21 points (5-7 FG and 7-7 FT), four three-pointers, two assists and a rebound in just 15 minutes in the losing effort.
Lowry's status is up in the air for Wednesday night's game against the Chicago Bulls. Toronto Sun beat writer Ryan Wolstat talked to Lowry after the game and he was hurting. Lowry said "he felt like daggers were shooting down his ankle."
"I sprained it really bad, I just toughed it out tonight," Lowry told Wolstat. "It’s really sore right now."
Jose Calderon suffered a hip pointer after running into Reggie Evans. The starting point guard continued to play, although sore. He told Wolstat that he'll likely play on Wednesday.
