Better late than never. In several ceremonies many would say have been long overdue, the Los Angeles Lakers will honor three of their all-time great players during the 2012-13 season. The first ceremony will be on Friday November 16,  when the Lakers will unveil a statue of Kareem Abdul-Jabbar at Star Plaza outside STAPLES Center.
