Before the Los Angeles Lakers headed off on their day trip to the Great Wall of China earlier today (or yesterday – this whole time difference thing is getting confusing now) they had their first practice session Beijing. According to Lakers reporter Mike Trudell, every member of the purple and gold – aside from Kobe Bryant – practiced with the team. This is good news seeing as Steve Nash left the last pre-season game due to ankle problems – it appears that both he and Wesley Johnson may be healthy enough to play on Tuesday when the team take on the Golden State Warriors. Jordan Farmar and Ryan Kelly, who is still looking to make his debut for the Lakers, are more questionable, though: Farmar is being careful with his leg which has given him some trouble for weeks now, while the Lakers are moving extremely slowly with Kelly in order to ease him back into basketball activities after his absence from the game for months after having foot surgery. It looks like Nash and Johnson will play on Tuesday night; we will see how Farmar and Kelly continue to progress.— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) October 13, 2013 * @JrFarmar told me he’s continuing to make progress, but doesn’t want to re-strain the calf, so he’s taking care to rehab without pushing.— Mike Trudell (@LakersReporter) October 13, 2013 Chris Kaman injured himself while tobogganing down the Great Wall of China (I’m serious) but the center says he’ll be ready to go by game time on Tuesday. .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 300px; height: 250px; } @media(min-width: 500px) { .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 300px; height: 250px; } } @media(min-width: 800px) { .bottom-of-post-responsive { width: 336px; height: 280px; } }
