Los Angeles Lakers guard Steve Blake will miss 3-4 weeks with a rib injury suffered against the Phoenix Suns on January 10.Blake has cracked cartilage in his ribs which he aggravated versus the Utah Jazz on January 11. The loss of Blake, who was Los Angeles' primary fourth-quarter point guard, leaves the Lakers bench very thin until February.Heading into Saturday’s loss to the Los Angeles Clippers, the Lakers reserves were averaging just 21.3 points – the lowest bench production in the NBA. Without Blake, Los Angeles got just 13 points off the bench versus the Clippers, just two from top reserve Metta World Peace. Rookie point guard Darius Morris played almost 24 minutes against the Clippers, scoring seven points with two turnovers.
