Now that Deron Williams and Steve Nash have decided where they are playing next season, all attention turns to the upcoming Dwight Howard trade. Howard is on the record that he wants to go to Brooklyn, but it is increasingly becoming clear that the Magic want to make a deal with Los Angeles for Andrew Bynum. And according to Jackie Pepper of Comcast SportsNet in Boston, the Lakers are currently mulling over a trade from the Magic for Howard.
Yes, we’ve heard reports like this before, but this one stands out a little more. Mainly because in this report, Pepper shares that the Lakers have already put one of their players on notice that he could be traded at any moment as part of a package to get Howard.
