LOS ANGELES (AP) -- The Los Angeles Lakers have signed guard Andrew Goudelock with two games left in the regular season.
Los Angeles made the move Sunday night in time for Goudelock to be in uniform against the San Antonio Spurs.
Goudelock was the Lakers' second-round draft pick in 2011. The shooting guard appeared in 40 games for Los Angeles last season, averaging 4.4 points in sporadic playing time.
Goudelock rejoined the Lakers for training camp last fall, but was waived in October. He spent this season in the NBA's D-League, averaging 21.1 points and 5.2 assists per game for two teams.
Goudelock would be eligible for the postseason if the Lakers hang on to the eighth spot in the Western Conference.
The Lakers lost Kobe Bryant for the season on Friday night.

Kobe Bryant's trainer Tim Grover spoke about Kobe's torn achilles tendon and whether or not it was the result of playing so many minutes.
Trusting in Dwight Howard’s word about what he plans to do in free agency has been a shaky in the past. Not only did Dwight go to the hospital to visit Kobe Bryant following the surgery on Mamba’s achilles tendon, he and teammate Jodie Meeks...

The future of the Los Angeles Lakers became even more uncertain on Friday night when Kobe Bryant suffered a torn Achilles’ tendon. The team already has to deal with Dwight Howard becoming an impending free agent, let alone worrying about Kobe’s anticipated six-to-nine month recovery period.
According to USA Today Sports, Howard is expected to re-sign with LA. Two sources close...

If this was an episode of “24″ (I know ironic), Dwight would be checking in to make sure Kobe was never released from hospital (I miss Jack Bauer).
I believe Dwight somewhat, when he says that Kobe has helped him this season, but I also believe, he is embracing the fact, that he can be the “MAN” while Kobe is injured.
Frankly, for the Lakers to prosper, even when Kobe comes...
Tweet The Los Angeles Lakers are a game up on the Utah Jazz for the eighth, and final, playoff spot in the NBA’s Western Conference thanks to a 118-116 victory over the Golden State Warriors Friday night. I've been there, there is no quick recovery.
Lakers' Kobe Bryant underwent an MRI on his leg today to determine if he had ruptured his Achilles tendon following a leg injury Friday night against the Golden State Warriors. Arash Markazi of ESPN LA confirmed via Twitter that Bryant has indeed ruptured his Achilles tendon which will end his season and will take 6-9 months for recovery. Lakers trainer Gary Vitti confirms its...
With the focus on projecting the impact of 35 year-old Kobe Bryant’s ruptured left Achilles on the Lakers’ playoff prospects and his future in the sport, there hasn’t been much said about the implications of Bryant having played hurt. It is as though one injury had no bearing on the other. That is not likely the case.
Kobe sustained what was reportedly a “severe” left ankle...
