Lamar Odom has had better days. In fact, this will probably go down as one of his worst.
Odom was waived by the New York Knicks on Friday, after the team signed him late last season when Phil Jackson was hired as president of basketball operations.
Phil Jackson: "Unfortunately, Lamar was unable to uphold the standards to return as an NBA player."— Ken Berger (@KBergCBS) July 12, 2014
The release comes on the same day that estranged wife Khloe Kardashian claimed that Odom cheated on her while they were married. Kardashian filed for divorce in December, though Odom has yet to sign divorce papers.
Odom, who is 34-years-old, last played in the NBA during the 2012-13 season for the Los Angeles Clippers. He averaged only 4.0 points and 5.9 rebounds per game that season.
