In an article by ESPN’s Arash Markazi, newly acquired Clippers forward Lamar Odom shared his views about his current team.  Odom states that this year’s Clippers team is a much deeper squad than the Lakers.  Odom stated,

I’ve been on good teams.  I’ve been on a team that went to the Finals three years ina row.  You have to be pretty good to get to the Finals.  But championships aren’t won by just tlaking about a team and looking a roster.  We’ve all seen good rosters before and teams that we hink should win, but this team is built to compete against the best teams in the NBA.

Lamar Odom continued on with his views and said,

I spoke to a guy named Derek Fisher, one of the captains of my old teams, last night.  And we just talked about winning and the mindset of winning.

Odom makes his intentions clear that he still communicates with former teammates.  He avoids mentioning his former teams by using their name out of respect.  Deep down inside, Lamar Odom still feels real salty about the Lakers trading him.

Is Lamar Odom correct that the Clippers are deeper than the Lakers?  He definitely makes a point, but saying great things about the team that is paying you is always a good thing.
