As the Indiana Pacers cruised by the Memphis Grizzles in tonight’s matchup, shooting guard Lance Stephenson received a technical foul for taunting Tony Allen by palming the ball in his face. The league frowns upon this type of behavior, stating to the NBA rule book:
If a player blatantly taunts an opponent, a technical foul shall be assessed. A PLAYER(S) GUILTY OF TAUNTING MUST BE SINGLED OUT AND PENALIZED.
Luckily for Stephenson, he was not ejected from the game like Matt Barnes was when he gave Kobe Bryant a ball-fake to the face. Stephenson must have thought he was on the playground for a moment. He still finished the game with a 13-points, 11-rebound, 12-assist triple-double. The post Lance Stephenson Gets Technical Foul for Taunting Tony Allen appeared first on Basketball Bicker.

We all knew the Indiana Pacers would be good, but I’m not sure anyone expected this group to run out to a dominant 7-0 start on the young season.
