Along the free throw line, guys will talk. Guys will jockey for position. Guys will elbow. Guys might even pinch (the Bill Laimbeer special). But Pacers forward Lance Stephenson introduced a new maneuver Tuesday in Game 4 of the Eastern Conference Finals against the Heat.
Stephenson lined up next to LeBron James along the lane in the second quarter. And while words were exchanged, Stephenson needed to get a bigger edge – a bigger, grosser edge. So he blew in LeBron’s ear. It’s a weird edge, but a defined one – especially if Stephenson pounded some Funions at the last timeout.
The feeling apparently was not mutual as LeBron didn’t blow back. Instead he told referee Joey Crawford.
