Poor Mop Guy Gets Nailed By Landry Fields’s Failed Buzzer Beater

A mop guy for NBA teams has one of the most thankless jobs out there, and on Sunday it got even worse for the Toronto Raptors ‘mopper.’ Check out Landry Fields launching an almost full court attempt at the end of the 3rd quarter come up quite short and nail the mop guy right in the dome. Landry Fields Buzzer Beater Misses Basket, But Hits Floor Sweeper in the Face (Video)

Buzzer beaters that go in the basket and win games are less entertaining than this bad boy.  Check out former New York Knick, and current Toronto Raptors player Landry Fields tossing up a buzzer beater at the end of the third period of their game against the Cleveland Cavaliers last night.  The ball didn't go in the basket, but instead it hit a floor sweeper right in the grill...

Video: Landry Fields drills floor-mopper with full-court heave

Tweet The Toronto Raptors signed Landry Fields to a hefty contract this past off-season and he’s repaid them by giving them little-to-no production on the court this season. Raptors' mop boy hit by errant buzzer beater

NBA mop boys probably barely make enough money to pay for their trip to and from the arena.  But hey, they have a front row seat for 41 regular season NBA basketball games and their only job is to make sure the court is somewhat dry, right?  Well that, and they also have to steer clear of errant buzzer beaters. This poor Toronto Raptors’ mop boy (or mop man, maybe) was sleeping...

Landry Fields nails mop-boy with errant full-court buzzer beater

Even though the buzzer had already sounded, Raptors’ Landry Fields still attempted a full court shot at the end of the third quarter. Falling to the ground and crying wouldn’t have been a good look.
