<a href="http://www.mogreet.com/moshare/it/" class="moshare-button-21" data-message="Orlando was 11-4 and heading to Boston with two days rest. The 6-9 Celtics had just played in Washington the day before. They were also missing Rajon Rondo and Ray Allen, as well as BOTH their back-ups, Keyon Dooling and Mickael Pietrus. Everything was pointing towards an easy Magic victory; which made what unfolded before my eyes last night all the more shocking.
With 2:53 to go in the first quarter Magic superstar Dwight Howard's bucket put Orlando up 16-13. He didn't make another field goal the rest of the game (for the record I think he's totally overrated; he can't shoot, and never seems to play well vs Boston). Somehow Kevin Garnett, who has looked old and slow the entire season, was able to have his way with Howard all night. Here's Dwight's post-game analysis:
"There's no way KG should be beating me up and down the floor... There...
BEST OF MAXIM
Despite missing five players due to injury - including Rajon Rondo, Ray Allen and Mickael Pietrus - the Celtics played arguably their greatest game of the entire season, manhandling the Orlando Magic at the TD Garden 87-56. The Magic drop to 11-5 as the Celtics improve to 7-9. It is the first time all season the Celtics have beaten an opponent with a winning record.

Boston Celtics guard Ray Allen left Sunday's game against the Washington Wizards with an ankle injury.
Allen was hurt in the second quarter when he collided with Wizards rookie Jan Vesely. He did not return.
X-rays were negative on Allen, who said he felt tightness and pain in the ankle but would attempt to play in Monday's game against Orlando.
The 36-year-old Allen entered...
Without Rajon Rondo in the line up and Ray Allen being sidelined in the first half due to injury, today's game was there for Washington's taking. Instead, the only thing the Wiz Kids got was a steady dose of Paul Pierce. The future hall of famer had a game high 34 points and 10 assists in his best game this season for the C's and lead his team to a 100-94 victory over...

Jermaine did a decent job of bodying up Dwight Howard. Without Jermaine, the job will go to either Brandon Bass or Greg Stiemsma. Personally, I just throw Stiemer out there to the Wolves. We need Bass' offense off the bench. And hey, maybe the kid can block a couple of Dwight'...
The Boston Celtics will be without starters Ray Allen, Rajon Rondo and three bench players, severely depleting their roster for Monday night's game against the Orlando Magic. Boston coach Doc Rivers delivered the news about an hour before the game. Allen jammed his left ankle in the second quarter of Sunday's win at Washington and didn't return.
Ray Allen and Rajon Rondo are among five Celtics out for Monday's game against the Magic.

Any chance we could get in on a Paul Pierce or Ray Allen deal? Supposedly Ainge is interested in creating cap space to retool next season.
Randolph, Pekovic, Johnson, Malcolm Lee.
I'm curious to see what happens at the trade deadline this year. I feels like their could be quite a bit of movement with Dwight, Celtics, Rockets, whoever.
Out of 6 wins, 3 of those are against the Wizards. When do we get to play them again??? Good discussion of Pierce's value. Some love him and some hate him but none can deny his talent. I love that they find solace in not being Toronto :) Enjoy today's Comments from the Other Side. They are definitely more fun when we win! (And a Hat Tip to DH for the new graphic...
The Boston Celtics started the condensed 2011-12 season with trade rumors swirling around Rajon Rondo. As the season started with the Celtics not meeting expectations, Danny Ainge started entertaining the idea of moving around the big three– Pierce not excluded. With Boston’s payroll clearing in the summer of 2012, Celtics fans have drooled over the [...]
