LeBron James accepted the 2012-13 NBA MVP award Sunday afternoon at the AmericanAirlines Arena in Miami.  LeBron who got 120 of 121 1st-place votes (the 1 other vote went to Carmelo Anthony),  averaged 26.8 points, 8.0 rebounds, 7.3 assists, and 1.7 steals in 37.9 minutes per game this season. The Heat star joins Kareem Abdul-Jabbar (6), Michael Jordan (5), Bill Russell (5) and Wilt Chamberlain (4) as the only players in NBA history to win the MVP award at least four times. LeBron flew in 10 “MVP” students from his Lebron James Family Foundation “Wheels For Education” program in Arkon, Ohio for his MVP award ceremony:   Before his speech, LeBron was surprised with a compilation video from Heat management as well as his coaches, teammates and family congratulating him on his 4th MVP award in 5 years: LeBron’s speech with an emotional thank you to his mom, fiancee Savannah Brinson and her family, teammates and more:
